bulletttime_titlescreen_ipad_small

So we are back on Bullet Time (again). Our wall is currenlty completely covered in printed paper with 300 scenes of our biggest production yet.

We have made some political decisions on this game too. We have adapted the code so it runs on iPad and we liked playing it on the iPad so much that we will be releasing Bullet Time as an iPad only game. Later on the game will probably

be an universal game so people are also able to run it on their iPhones and iPods too. Right now we are progressing full speed and hope to be releasing pretty soon, with level design being completed (more or less) it’s now on to sound and scenery design.

Here are some caps to see what you might encounter in the game.

leveldesign_blog

So we’re level designing like there is no tomorrow (how appropriate), in this picture above you can see what our office-wall looks like right now. It’s covered with printed level schematics, nailed to the wall, so we are a bit able to keep track of the progress and also see in the blink of an eye (wel sort off) where which level is currently located in the game (and also by which name/id it goes). After purchasing 6.5 squaremetres of softboard we found out that we’re only half way yet ;-( So a lot of work needs to be done but we won’t give up on creating the most fatalistic game ever, oh no!!!

CamLock starting to RISE!

Wednesday, May 4th, 2011

Oh yeah, some (I guess major) forum in Germany called slashCam has written about our app CamLock (read it here) . This has generated some traffic to our website and also some sales in the App Store. Today I actually reaached something like 21th position in downloads en 14 th postion in revenue in the German App Store that is and in the category Photograhpy. Really nice to see your app next to names as photoshop, iMovie, Hipstamatic etc.
Let’s see where this takes us…

I’m using AppAnnie to track all this statisitics and here you can see a screendump of the written reviews I got so for on my app. That’s not bad huh. Btw, I don’t know these people. not a single one of them. See and read for yourself, clicking the images will enlarge them.

CamLock video camera app in App Store

camlock_inappstore

Last night our latest iPhone release became available in the Apple App Store. You can get it here. So another video app you might say. And indeed you are right, it seems that these days video apps are flooding the app store. So what does ours excactly do, what makes it worth the money? This app is totally not about after effects, filters etc. This camera app allows you to lock exposure, whitebalance and focus. This gives you a way to create a decent recording without the automatics ruining it.

One final thing I must add is that since iOS 4.3 some glitch in AVFoundation was introduced which removes the exposure lock if you begin/finish recording. That’s why I decided to disable this switch on devices running IOS 4.3 /4.3.1 while in standby mode. Otherwise the app might raise expectations. If your device is still running on 4.0 – 4.2.1 then your fine and exposure lock can be set before recording. I only found out about this 4.3 glitch 2 days before submitting the app. I filed a bug report with apple but until today got no word about it. Of course the whole purpose of this app is exposure/whitebalance locking and because of this glitch the app’s functionality is compromised, which is really too bad and right now even prevents me from updating my devices.

Happy shooting..

Bullet Time rerererererevisited!

Tuesday, March 8th, 2011

Right now we are more or less finished with our character design in terms of physic constellations, we are trying to skin these things and have enhanced our monster editor to become a full blown level editor. So with all the enemies more or less worked out it’s on to level design:

OFFICE V2.0

Fullscreen on the move

New address:

Netherlands

Yes Fullscreen has moved to a new location (physically). After a year of fullscreen existence we thought it was time for a change. Our previous office was a little bit small and turned out to be a true oven during last summer. With this enormous heat going on, concentration was not always at maximal level. Right now, these issues are gone and forgotten. Here are some pictures to give you an impression, I would say there is more than enough room for the two of us:
